[NEGHR 19:58-9] Mary and Martha were born at Merrimack; Ruth and Nathaniel were born at Bradford. Not known when he died, but his son Nathaniel was a soldier and died probably unmarried in 1706, when admission was granted to his sister Martha, wife of Joseph Greely (Essex Wills IX:56). His other sister Ruth married Thomas Ayer Jr. Perhaps Joseph Gage of Haverhill was a relative as in his will (Essex Wills XII:46) he gives something to his cousin Whitaker, wife of William Whitaker (Mary married second WW).
