[NEHGR 58:305] Thomas Holbrook, the first in America, came in the Hopewell, 1635, and is recorded as a husbandman aged 34, from Broadway, Co Somerset. He brought with him his wife, Jane, and four children, and settled in Weymouth Mass. Their oldest child was Capt John Holbrook of Weymouth, all 11 of his children by his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Streame.
