7 Days in Tahiti

We spent 7 days in Tahiti: 3 days on the island of Moorea and 4 days on the island of Bora Bora. The weather was very pleasant except that it rained all of our last day on Bora Bora. We stayed in an overwater bungalow at the Beachcomber Parkroyal on Moorea and at the Pearl Beach Resort on Bora Bora. The bungalow at the Pearl Beach Resort had a glass coffee table that you could see right down to the water and fish below.

Activities we did on Moorea

Jeep Safari Tour - Saw lots of neat things all around the island
Tiki Village Show - Learned about Polynesian Culture
Snorkeling off a motu - Saw lots of coral and tropical fish
Parasailing - Took off right from boat up 150 feet

Activities we did on Bora Bora

Shark and Stingray feeding - See explanation below
Scuba diving - Went with instructor down 20 feet
Jeep Safari Tour - Saw lots of neat things all around the island

The shark feeding was very interesting. We went with snokel and mask in the water, and the guy threw food next to us which attracted the sharks. They swam around us. The sharks don't see too well, so they would swim right towards you and turn away at the last moment which was quite scary.
