Prof. Brian L. Evans
has created the courses below in the ECE curriculum to support
a research effort in embedded real-time signal and image processing systems.
These courses leverage other courses already in the ECE curriculum
and are a lot of fun to teach.
Each semester, Prof. Evans also directs a
senior design project team.
- EE445S Real-Time Digital Signal
Prof. Evans teaches this third-year/fourth-year undergraduate class
every Fall and Spring semester.
EE445L Embedded Systems Design Laboratory,
EE351M Digital Signal Processing, and
EE471C Wireless Communications Laboratory.
- EE313 Linear Systems and Signals
A group of eight faculty members teaches this required second-year
undergraduate course every Fall and Spring semester.
EE 445S Real-Time Digital Signal Processing Laboratory,
EE 351K Probability, Statistics, and Random Processes,
EE 351M Digital Signal Processing, and
EE 362K Introduction to Automatic Control.
