New Announcements

  • The last homework is posted.
  • The new due date for the final project report is December 1st. You can find some format details in the syllabus. Please don't use "microfilm" size fonts ( :) ). So please use not less than font 10 in the body and not less than font 8 in the references. The report should be like a short paper with an introduction (this is a summary of your preliminary report), a discussion where you address the issue mentioned in the introduction, and a conclusion. Please, refer also to the presentation in week # 9.
  • Also on December 1st we will have the last make up class from 5 pm to 6:30ish pm in ETC 2.132.
  • The final exam is on Dec. 13th from 7 pm to 10 pm in ENS 115. Details about the logistics will be given in class.

Old Announcements

  • Homework assignments #4 and #5 are both now posted. Please, find homework #4 in Blackboard.
  • Make up classes (all of them Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30ish pm in ETC 2.132): 11/17, and 12/1.
  • Make up classes (all of them Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30ish pm in ETC 2.132): 10/27, 11/3, 11/17, and 12/1.
  • Homework assignment #2 is now posted.
  • There are not going to be classes on 10/16  and during our regular time on 10/21. I will try to secure a class room in order to be able to hold the 10/21 class during the evening (starting at 5 pm). Additional makeup classes will be held on 10/27 and 11/3 at 5 pm on a classroom yet to be determined.
  • Please, keep checking this webpage for additional details of class schedule and location.
  • Makeup classes: 10/13 and 10/27 in ENS 116 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. These classes makeup for the missing classes during INTELEC
  • There are not going to be classes on 10/16 (for sure) and may be on 10/21 (I will confirm this soon). Makeup classes will also be announced but it will likely be on 11/3.
  • Homework assignment #2 will be posted soon.
  • Homework assignement #1 is now posted.
  • Please make groups of 2 people for the course's project. More details will be announced soon.
  • No classes on Sept. 16 or 18 (I will be attending INTELEC). Make up classes will also be announced soon.
  • I have changed the slides format for the class of 9-11 to reduce the ink consumption when printing them
