EE445S Real-Time Digital Signal Processing Laboratory

Prof. Brian L. Evans, The University of Texas at Austin, Spring 2014

This course concerns theory, algorithms, simulation and real-time implementation of digital signal processing systems. This class emphasizes design tradeoffs in signal quality vs. implementation complexity in signal processing algorithms. Students map signal processing theory to signal processing algorithms to desktop simulation in Matlab to embedded real-time software in C. The class is accessible by first-semester third-year undergraduate electrical and computer engineering students.

Open Courseware

The student will need access to Matlab or Octave, Software Receiver Design textbook, and Real-time Digital Signal Processing lab manual.
